My new holy grail…I haven’t touched my Nars concealer since I got this one and if anyone knows me or seen my previous pictures, know that I was a ride or die for that concealer. I have no idea why I didn’t try this concealer before. This concealer is so so good. Gives a very bright natural look to the under eyes. High coverage but still natural looking. It is creamy but not too thick and very easy to apply. Blends perfectly with a sponge or even your fingers, and feels light enough that you forget you’re wearing it but the coverage is full! Perfect for when you don’t feel like wearing foundation and just want to cover up your bags and blemishes. I’m so happy I bought this product because it is literally amazing, definitely a repurchase for me. | @tartecosmetics |
So I have the Tarteist Contour Palette and that palette was an extreme let down. I was not too sure about this Rainforest of the Sea Wipeout Color-Correcting Palette but I still decided to try out the creams and thank goodness I did cause it is AH-MAZING!
It is a thicker cream so I do suggest if you use it, put some of the product on your hand to warm up and soften it first. I promise you it will glide right on! Be careful to not use too much because if you do layer this product on it will cake up. The consistency is beautiful. It is really smooth and creamy. The green doesn’t leave the tint most green correctors do. This is so versatile and the palette has something for every skin color. The consistence is wonderful, the coverage is great, and the bendability is awesome. The cream contouring palette easily blends out beautifully especially around the nose and cheekbone area (which tbh is where my struggle is with most make up products). I can’t express my love for this palette enough. I strongly suggest this palette!

I love Tarte cosmetics. I have several palettes from Tarte, but this contour palette is an extreme let down. I have a lot of contour and highlighting powders and I didn’t mind having another one. I bought this one with the impression that it would be super silky and smooth. The pans are tiny and the highlight shades aren’t pigmented but are rather chalky. The contour colours are extremely warm and the darker colour is super (SUPER) dark. If I were to combine both dark colours it would give me a muddy look. The texture of these powders are really weird too they’re not powdery(note for dry skins – I would definitely stay away from the palette). I loved the idea of including a blush but this one is not the same formula as the amazonian clay blushes and in addition are not pigmented. For the price, there’s not much product, it went on really chalky and was hard to blend and the colour pay off was not what I was expecting. If I had to rate this palette I would rate it out of 2/10. Why 2 points at least? Because of the cute packaging and a blush in the palette however other than that I’m not much of a fan of this palette.
Have you guys seen the new Tarte Energy Noir Clay Palette? It’s basically a full-face palette, creating looks for eyes and adding a little brightness for the cheeks. I like the colors in this palette, but if you are like me and have a ton of palettes, then this is not a must have. It’s a gorgeous palette with awesome pigmentation, blends amazingly and it’s super long wearing. The blush is legit the perfect color for me I’ve been wearing it ever since I got it. You can create looks for day and night from this palette, I like it but I wouldn’t say you NEED this palette but it’s always nice to have everything in your makeup collection right?
