ABH Single Shadows!

I have the Aritst The World Traveller & Self Made palettes from ABH, and they are my FAVS. So when I found out that there were single shadows available at Sephora, I was over the moon. I was tempted to buy almost all the colors at one time, but I really had to watch my spending. (Sometimes I really don’t think when I shop). My ride-or-die eye shadows are Metal, Rosette, Hot chocolate, 10K, Dusty Rose and Pink Champagne. The ABH single eye shadows are buttery, smooth, pigmented, longwearing, and so blendable. I use them every single time I wear eye shadow. I cannot emphasize how amazed I am about the formula for the shadows. Get a few they’re worth $16 CAD! I’d even pay more because they’re that good. The selection is wide so you have a wide range to choose from. I’m buying the whole new spring shadows when they’re all officially released on Sephora!

Anastasia is killin’ it.

Rainforest of the Sea Foundation & Concealer

For the past few weeks, my forehead has been dry and my t-zone is a disco ball (I blame winter). I apply this with a sponge, and 4-5 drops are enough to give me a very good coverage. It goes on so nice and lasts all day. I have extremely oily skin and this has helped combat a lot of oil. The finish of this foundation is kinda powdery, I feels like there’s nothing on my skin… it looks very natural but flawless!  It doesn’t get clogged in my huge nose pores, and it doesn’t get cakey. I did order this online but my colour was WAY off so I did have to go to Sephora and change up my colour! I do recommend going into Sephora and getting an employee to match your color.

It provides great coverage, blends flawlessly and doesn’t crease. I also use it to cover up blemishes. The concealer lasts all day long, I never find myself having to reapply it. It doesn’t get cakey, nor do you have to use a lot to cover up spots, a little goes a long way. I highly recommend!

Rainforest of the Sea Wipeout Color-Correcting Palette

So I have the Tarteist Contour Palette and that palette was an extreme let down. I was not too sure about this Rainforest of the Sea Wipeout Color-Correcting Palette but I still decided to try out the creams and thank goodness I did cause it is AH-MAZING!

It is a thicker cream so I do suggest if you use it, put some of the product on your hand to warm up and soften it first. I promise you it will glide right on! Be careful to not use too much because if you do layer this product on it will cake up. The consistency is beautiful. It is really smooth and creamy. The green doesn’t leave the tint most green correctors do. This is so versatile and the palette has something for every skin color. The consistence is wonderful, the coverage is great, and the bendability is awesome. The cream contouring palette easily blends out beautifully especially around the nose and cheekbone area (which tbh is where my struggle is with most make up products). I can’t express my love for this palette enough. I strongly suggest this palette!

NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation & Radiant Creamy Concealer

I have no idea how I haven’t reviewed this concealer since I’ve been using it for the past 2-3years. This concealer is my absolute favourite. It has buildable coverage so it’s appropriate for both day & night.  It’s also great at covering any dark spots or blemishes. It’s so creamy, blendable, and honestly amazing. It provides light to medium coverage, smooth’s out my under eye skin texture, and lasts all day.

I have very oily, acne-prone, and sensitive skin so I’m very picky about which foundations I wear on a daily basis. This one won’t clog your pores and will keep your oil at bay (if you’re oily).  Although it is called ‘luminous,’ it seems to be pretty matte. I love it also because although it is on the pricier side, you really do only need one pump for your entire face. The formula is thin and watery, but I really like the consistency. The coverage is medium-full depending on how much you use.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kits

O M G Anastasia Beverly Hills is sold in SEPHORA (FINALLY).

These highlighters are perfection. I knew that I would love them but didn’t expect that the kits would be my obsession (there limited edition so I’m going to order some backup). I love the colours, they are very pigmented and the powders are bendable and so soft! This packaging is gorgeous. It’s like getting a nice brand new hard cover book but when you open it…it’s highlighters! It is $53 CAD, but you get what you pay for. You’re getting 4 highlight colours with HUGE pans! This stuff is to die for! Worth every penny! Love the colors, you can build for more drama, or keep it subtle for that natural glow! Anastasia never fails!
