I love this Morphe M439. I use it to apply my liquid foundation, and when I’m done it leaves my skin looking air brushed and perfect. The bristles on this brush are extremely soft that I never want to stop blending my foundation. The bristles on the brush are nice and dense which allows you to really work with the product into your skin, and it gives the perfect coverage. Great addition to your makeup brush collection.
5/5! Will definitely re-purchase after I inevitably destroy this one.
I bought this Viseart Eyeshadow Palette in Neutral Matte because So many people were raving about this “amazing” palette which to be honest was not worth all the hype. This palette was VERY expensive… I’m pretty disappointed because I’m paying $100CAD for a palette with eyeshadows that barely show up on my lid. I was hoping for a lot more pigmentation, and blend able colours but unfortunately that was not the case with this palette. I will be returning this to Sephora so I can spend my money on something amazing. Not worth the money.
Thanks to concealer, we’re able to hide everything from zits to dark circles. You’ve probably noticed that concealers no longer come in only one skin tone colour. Instead, there are many different colors (green, purple, pink, yellow, white, etc.). Each shade has a specific issue they are best suited to conceal. If you have numerous spots on your face that you struggle with, then understanding color correcting concealers can be a total game changer. Learning the art of concealer has a lot to do with understanding the basics of color correction. Do you remember learning about the color wheel in elementary school art class? For example, red is directly across from green on the colour wheel. The colour green will neutralize the colour red, which is why green concealer works best to cover red acne blemishes.
As I said before, green neutralize the colour red, which is why green concealers are amazing for getting rid of any redness on your face. You can use green-based spot concealers to remove redness from any annoying zit or any acne scars. Colour correcting green primer will be best to significantly reduce redness and give an even toned base for flawless foundation application.
These pink concealers are ideal for brightening around the eye area. This specific concealer colour is a mixture of orange, red and yellow hues, which are across from. The purple, blue and green hues on the colour wheel. These colours are best to battle dark under eye circles. It brightens your under eye so they work well to cover raccoon looking eyes.
To neutralize the blue/gray color under the eyes, you need to use a color opposite on the color wheel, which would be orange. This color is perfect for people with darker skin tones looking to hide dark circles or acne spots with deep discoloration.
These are perfect for hiding purple or blue bruises, veins, and under eye circles, yellow is right across from purple on the color wheel. Yellow concealers are typically the most general, and are great for evening out skin tone to give a bright base for your foundation.
This was my first Make Up Forever shadow purchase and I am blown away! This palette from Make Up For Ever is absolutely gorgeous. It has a wide range of neutral colors to choose from. All the colors in this palette are extremely pigmented, creamy and easily bendable. The value of this amazing, a single shadow is $24.00 CAD but this palette has 9 shadows and it’s valued at $50.00 CAD. Its worth the money!
Let me just say that I am absolutely in love with these Colour Pop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks, i got them in the colour Clueless (first left),Trap (middle) and Solow( last one). These colours can suit any skin tone… so all of us can slay these Colour Pop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks. Putting a lip balm underneath these is really helpful, as they can be a little bit drying. Other than that these lipsticks are amazing for the price you pay… $6.00. This stays on all day, even through eating! I haven’t had any flaking or cracking like some comparable products. If you’re looking for matte liquid lipsticks and don’t want to pay $30 or more I would say these beauties would be a good fit!
